Renal Unit, Ulster Hospital

Split level building with single storey ward area to the south, the main entrance, clinical support facilities located centrally and the consulting rooms, offices and ancillary accommodation to the north in the two-storey element of the building with the service area on the level below.

Plant rooms are located above the central section of the building.  A link corridor is to be constructed, connecting the Renal Unit to the main hospital.  Elements of car parking and siteworks are included within the project.

The scheme has been designed in accordance with our project quality plan which has been adhered to from inception through the design and procurement procedures.  A close working relationship with the client has been developed and thus has been adopted with the contractor as work progresses successfully on site.

The Renal Unit was submitted to receive the Prime Minister’s Award.
